The verdict, up front

The base 8 with the E5 panel.

iQOO 8 was the cheaper China-only sibling of the 8 Pro — Samsung E5, 120 W, 888 — without the QHD+ resolution or wireless charging. As a value-flagship of its season it was excellent; the 8 Pro is the one everyone remembers.
